Packing and Preparation

Please note the following:

• Weather: Leipzig is hot in the summer months and air conditioning is virtually non-existent in the city and not available in the ACU villa. Fans will be provided in each room.

• Baggage: We will be flying American airlines and adhering to existing AA baggage policies. One check-in bag, one carry on, and one personal item is allowed.

• Electronics: Germany uses a standard European type C/Type F plug at 220V.

• One nicer outfit for final dinner (business casual)

• House shoes/shower shoes

• Light rain jacket with hood

• Packable umbrella

• Comfortable walking shoes

• Bathing suit

• Hat or cap

Toiletries (common toiletries can be easily found in Leipzig)

• Shampoo

• Soap

• Deodorant

• Toothbrush

• Toothpaste

• Contact lens solution

• Razors

Miscellaneous (many of these supplies can be purchased in Leipzig)

• Debit/credit card

• Required over-the-counter medications and prescription medication

• Flashlight

• Small backpack for excursions and day trips

• Cards, books for leisure
