Leipzig Internships:

1. Deutsch-Amerikanisches Institut Sachsen (DAIS) - German-American Institute Saxony (*Suspended due to cuts in US State Department Funding in the Trump Administration)

• As an intern, you will work at the German-American Institute Saxony (DAIS), which is a, “non-profit, non-partisan institution dedicated to promoting liberal democratic societies through transatlantic dialogue on the topics of culture, history, economics and politics.”

2. Leipzig English Church (Coming in 2027)

• Leipzig English Church (LEC) is a vibrant Anglican community in the heart of Leipzig, bringing together believers from diverse Christian traditions and cultural backgrounds. With a commitment to joyful worship, clear biblical teaching, and genuine fellowship, LEC serves as a welcoming spiritual home for both long-time churchgoers and those exploring faith for the first time. As our congregation continues to grow and minister to the international community in Leipzig, we are seeking a dedicated intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in church ministry while contributing to our mission of sharing Jesus' love in this dynamic European city.
  **This internship is only open to bible/ministry majors and will meet the requirements for the practical ministry internship in CBS and GST.

3. Leipzig Generations Church (coming in 2027)

• Generations Church International (GCI) is an English-speaking international church serving the diverse community of Leipzig. Meeting every Sunday at 4pm in the heart of the city, GCI brings together people from various nations and backgrounds in a welcoming environment centered on worship, biblical teaching, and authentic community. As our church continues to grow and reach the international population of Leipzig, we are looking for a passionate intern to join our team, gain valuable ministry experience, and help us fulfill our mission of connecting people across generations and cultures to the life-changing message of the Gospel.

  **This internship is only open to bible/ministry majors and will meet the requirements for the practical ministry internship in CBS and GST.

4. Forum Thomanum

• As an intern, you will work at the Forum Thomanum which is an “internationally oriented educational campus that builds on the 800-year tradition of Thomana Choir. Learn to believe, sing and cultural exchange are the focus of training in the campus institutions.” You will be engaging with German students aged 6-11 on a weekly basis.

All students will be required to take an online Internship Course through ACU.
